Ingredients to make Dum Aloo (four person)
400 grams potatoes
3 tomatoes
2 green chilies
1 piece ginger
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp coriander
50 g cream
50 grams curd
1 tsp chilli
1/4 tsp garam masala
2 tsp oil
Salt to taste
Dum Aloo recipe
To make Dum Aloo, first, peel and clean the boiled potatoes and pierce them with the help of a knife or chopsticks.
Now heat oil in a pan, add these potatoes and fry them on low flame. When all the potatoes are fried, take them out in a vessel and keep them.
After doing this, put tomatoes, ginger, and green chillies in the mixer and grind them. Take out this mixture.
Put a pan on the gas, put oil in it as well as add cumin, now add turmeric, coriander, garam masala and cream and mix it well. Now add the ground mixture to it. Mix it all well.
Now add salt and red chilli to this mixture and fry it well, when the oil starts separating from the spices, add curd and mix it.
After cooking for some time, add water according to the curry, when it starts boiling, then add fried potatoes and mix all the mixture well.
Leave it to cook for some time. After 4-5 minutes see that your hot Dum Aloo is ready.
