How to delete repository in GitHub?
To delete a repository in GitHub, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the repository page on GitHub that you want to delete.
- Click on the "Settings" tab, which is located in the top right corner of the page.
- Under Danger zone scroll down to the bottom of the page, and you will see a button labeled "Delete this repository".
- Click on the button, and a pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to delete the repository.
- Type the name of the repository in the text box to confirm the deletion, and then click on the "I understand the consequences, delete this repository" button.
- You will be prompted to enter your GitHub password to confirm the deletion.
- After you have entered your password, the repository will be deleted and can't be recovered.
Please be aware that deleting a repository is a permanent action and can't be undone. Be sure you want to delete it before proceeding.
