New Google meet feature that everyone is waiting for

Google said in a blog post that now when a user is the only person in a meeting for five minutes, they will receive a notification whether they want to be in the meeting or leave the meeting.

Have you ever forgotten to exit the meeting leaving you alone in the digital room? Google has found a solution to the problem that sometimes people forget to leave the meeting and the whole experience of being alone in a digital room can be a little terrifying. So now, it has started rolling out a new feature on Google Meet that will prompt the user if he has forgotten to leave the meeting. Simply put, in Google Meeting, when you forget to leave a meeting, it will remind you again and again.

Google said in a blog post that now when a user is the only person in a meeting for five minutes, they will receive a notification whether they want to be in the meeting or leave the meeting. And if they don't respond after two minutes, they will automatically leave the meeting. Explaining the rationale behind introducing this feature, Google wrote in a post, "We hope this feature will help prevent situations where your audio or video is inadvertently shared."

Google said that it has rolled out this feature to all Google Workspace customers, legacy G Suite Basic, business customers, and users with personal Google Accounts on desktop and iOS devices, and they will start receiving these prompts later. As far as Android users are concerned, the company said that this feature will be available on Android devices soon. However, Google has not shared the launch date.
